Cancer in the Lungs: The Types
There are two types of well known cancer in the lungs which are small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Those two types of lung cancer are divided by the place where the cancer cells start. Like SCLC, this kind of lung cancer is mostly caused by smoking. The dangerous part is these SCLC spreads and grows rapidly, and affect to another part of human organs. Different with SCLC, the NSCLC is way softer than SCLC. It affected slowly and divided into four stages. But still, even NSCLC is a little bit softer, it infects most people, which up to 85 percents, compares to SCLC, which only infects 15 percents of people. The truth is cancer in the lungs, and other types of cancer can be cured if only it could be noticeable sooner. But, unfortunately, people only notice when it already entered the third stage and cancer in the lungs stage 4. The symptoms of lung cancer are usually felt just like common illness. Hard to breath, cough that doesn’t want to cure, and pain in the chest are some of the lung cancer symptoms.
Cancer in the Lungs: The Detector
With the modernity these days, there are several tests that can be chosen to diagnose cancer in the lungs. And most hospital, no matter how small it is, usually already provides at least one of the tests. Some common tests such as positron emission tomography (PET) scan, this scan, can be done in few hours and using the small amount of radioactive; computerized tomography (CT) scan which only takes 10-15 minutes and painless; chest x-ray; and biopsy.Modernity always comes with sacrifices. Money oriented, high brand oriented and sociality world seems to be born as a result of modernity. Just remember to balance our life in order to avoid the bad result. We don’t want to spend our money which we already save in years just because infected by cancer in the lungs, right?
